The days are getting longer and the sun is shining brighter. Pretty soon, the beach will be calling your name.
That's all well and good as long as you remember some crucial things to enjoying the outdoors:
1) The sun is at it's hottest between mid day and 3pm. Take special care not to spend too much time outdoors.
2) Regardless of the temperature, do not neglect to wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more. Warm temps have less to do with sun exposure than the length of time spent outdoors.
3) Re-apply sunscreen every two to three hours when spending time in the water or for an extended period of time outdoors.
