Healthy Skin - Time Is Not The Enemyby Michelle Howard
"Nobody sees a flower -- really -- it is so small it takes time -- we haven't time -- and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time." Georgia O'Keefe I never thought I'd be requoting anything by Georgia O'Keefe but this statement rings true for really all you dare to do in life. Specifically your skin care and daily regimen. This quote is appropriately inspirational for those struggling to have healthy beautiful skin.. Give Your Skin Some TimeWhen you have skin problems like acne, eczema or any other condition, it's easy to get discouraged and think that you will always have these issues. However, just like the flower. It takes time. Time to heal and time for the products you use to work. It may also take time for you to grow out of certain conditions. For example, if you have acne and have tried everything type of product available on the market as well as made dietary changes, you could very well be experiencing this common condition because of hormonal changes. The good news is hormones don't stay at the same level always. They will change again and that leaves you with a good chance that your overactive skin will calm down. In The MeantimePersistence and patience is an important quality to have for healthy skin. You may need to try more than one type of product for your skin condition. However, don't try too many products. Give a product some time to work. A good rule of thumb is one month to see a noticeable change. If you notice improvement in your skin's appearance, stick with it. If there is no improvement, your skin appears to be getting worst or if immediate irritation is present then discontinue use and give your skin some time to calm down before starting a new product. Many skin problems can be successfully addressed with time, patience and persistence. When you know your skin type, the best thing you can do to promote healthy skin is to make sure you follow an appropriate daily skin care regimen and use skin care products that address your skin's concerns.
