Easy Make-up Tips & Advice To Follow for a Stunning Appearance
Applying make-up is an art form. The make-up tips I'm about to share will help you paint a pretty picture. I once saw a lady who looked like her whole face was painted on. Her face was pink and ashy looking and her neck was beige! This ought not to be so! Make-up is supposed to enhance your beauty, not turn you into a circus act! Just as with skin care products, it's important to scrutinize the ingredients that formulate your make-up. Most make-up contains talc which has been linked to skin cancer. Natural Mineral Make-up Protects One of the major make-up tips I have to give is to wear natural mineral make-up. Mineral make-up can be used on all skin types. It will not clog pores. Most importantly, it helps protect your skin from the harmful debris. The minerals act as a barrier to dust, dirt and debris in the air. Mineral make up helps protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. It is composed of earth's natural elements: zinc oxide, titanium dioxide (a natural form of ultraviolet protection) among others.
Natural Mineral Make-up comes in a variety of delightful colors so you
have variation. It comes in powder or pressed form. You can buy
mineral make up for total face coverage, eye shadow, blush, and to
conceal. Here are some make-up tips for wearing Eye, Cheek and Lips make-up: To prep your eyes for smooth application, use an eye cream for above and underneath the eyes. Use eye shadows that work highlight your complexion and hair color. They should also compliment your outfit. Apply eye make-up with subtle, light strokes. Eye shadow should be coordinated with the time of day and the type of event you are planning to attend. For example, gold and silver eye shadows should only be worn in the evening. Less dramatic colors should be worn during the day. As you age, wear earthen colors for a more youthful appearance. If you wear eye liner or mascara choose dark brown over black. It's more natural looking. Apply eye liner as thin as possible. For a night out on the town or an evening event, just like the eye shadow, you can be a little more dramatic. Bolder colors and thicker coverage can be worn. Just be careful not to create raccoon eyes. Pencils also work better and are more hygienic than liquid. When applying blush, the goal is to add a little color that blends naturally. Blush comes in cream and powder. Women with dry skin should use cream blush. Women with oily skin should use powder for oil control. Blush should always be applied just before finishing powder. The finishing powder is called just that for a reason. It "finishes" off your make-up application. One of the key make-up tips for applying cheek blush is to use the right tool; in this case a blush brush. Large brushes work best and allow for even distribution of blush. Apply
blush beginning at the bridge of the nose using quick soft strokes.
Finish at the very edge of your cheekbone (going in the direction of
your ear). LipsLip color should be your final step after applying facial coverage, eye shadow and cheek blush. To define your lip lines, use a lip pencil. I personally do not like lipstick because so many brands contain lead and parabens. I prefer natural lip butter for that reason. Lip gloss is also an option. One of the best make-up tips I can give for your lips is that moisture is key. Use a good lip butter or gloss with moisturizing ingredients such as shea butter or vitamin E. Wear light colors for day wear and deeper colors at night Remember, lip color is really a matter of preference. Follow these make-up tips for smooth coverage and a stunning appearance. And who doesn't want that? Recently Viewed Items:
