When it comes to getting quality natural beauty products, your budget doesn’t have to be an issue. Nature has provided us with just the ingredients needed to help us care for our skin and our hair and without all the toxic chemicals that can build up and make us sick.
All over the internet and in many stores you can find natural beauty products. The problem is with most lines, they are often very expensive and many do not claim to do what they say. Even worse, a lot of these so called natural products aren’t really all that natural at all. So what’s a consumer to do? Well, how about a little homework?
I personally use Blended Naturals because I have sensitive skin and am aware of the ingredients that formulate the line. However, some people have reservations about using skin care lines that they have never heard of. It’s really a shame because the so called popular brands on the market are so heavily loaded with chemicals (to keep them preserved on the shelves) that over a period of time, can be quite toxic. At any rate, I’d like to offer a solution to those who would like to relate directly with nature…Natural beauty recipes.
Below you’ll find four quick and easy natural beauty recipes that you can use to make natural homemade beauty products all by your lonesome (As an option, I also provided a link to a comparable product by Blended Naturals that you can obtain right here on the site):
Natural Beauty Recipe for a Facial Mask:
- Combine a beaten egg with a mashed carrot and a mashed avocado.
- Then add a few tablespoons of honey
- Apply the mixture for about 15 minutes, and then wash off skin with cool water.
This natural facial mask will provide your skin with vitamins to improve your skin’s texture as well as help fight acne (honey is known for fighting acne)
Natural Beauty Recipe for a Facial Toner:
After you’ve applied your facial mask and rinsed clean, you can use a grated cucumber or lemon juice that's been diluted with filtered water as a facial toner to help tighten your skin’s pores for fresh, healthy looking skin that feels great too!
Natural Beauty Recipe for Hair Conditioner:
- Mix the yolk from an egg with a tablespoon of castor oil and apply to hair.
- Let sit for approximately ten minutes and then rinse thoroughly
This homemade hair conditioner can be used any time you want to experience shiny, healthy looking hair.
Natural Beauty Recipe for Hand and Foot Cream:
For softer, smoother skin on your hands and feet, try the following:
- Combine ½ a cup of olive oil with natural sea salt
- Massage into hands and feet
- Leave on a few minutes to soak and then rinse off with warm water.
When it comes to natural beauty, you can mix your own natural ingredients to make a homemade creation or if you don’t have the time or patience to create your own, then you can purchase natural beauty products. Either way, your body will thank you for caring for it naturally.
