So you've got a pimple now what? Well the way I see it, you only a have a few choices:
* Curl up in a fetal position and try to "rock" it away * Cover it with a surgical bandage and tell everyone you had major face surgery * Stay indoors and pray for a miracle * Go to the pharmacy and get some nice chemically laced products which may help the acne but cause
other skin problems * Try one or more of the natural remedies for pimples I'm about to share to keep them from growing further (Bingo!)
Ok
so maybe I provided you with a few not so "sane" choices but hey you
have to laugh a little because if you're anything like me, when you get
a pimple you may want to cry!
Getting a pimple or acne breakout is no fun. I do aim however to help you by offering some natural pimple remedies that I've discovered along the way. A couple of them can be homemade:
Brown Sugar - A natural source of glycolic acid which is often used to treat acne; a popular natural pimple remedy. Brown sugar helps deep clean and exfoliate your skin.
Pure Organic Honey - Honey has the ability to draw out the impurities in your skin and kill the bacterial germs that cause acne.
Therapeutic Grade Tea Tree, Lavender, Bergamot and Jasmine Essential Oils
- Some of the best natural acne remedies due to their natural
antibacterial properties. You can apply them directly to pimples to
kill bacteria, promote healing and reduce blemishes.
Dead Sea Products
- The Dead Sea has a salt concentration that is 10 times higher than
regular sea salt which can help reduce inflammation and heal skin
tissues.
The four natural acne remedies that I
just shared are quite effective and while what works for one person may
not be as effective for another, it's a good rule of thumb to try more
than one remedy to find what works best for your skin. The natural
pimple remedies that I've found to be most effective for my skin
are the pure brown sugar and the therapeutic grade essential oils. I
use a proprietary blend of essential oils from Young Living called
Purification. They also have an acne prone beauty serum that is a
mixture of essential oils. You can pick either of them up at www.youngliving.org with distributor # 1066504.
